"Any time it rained water would leak into the car causing mildew and at times so much water flowing in, you couldn't drive it. There is a flaw with the seals between all of the windows. Debris from trees can get through and clog the draining system so if you don't have a garage you better get one !"

"The car started having paint problems (paint flacking off) about 4 years after buying it and initially fixed by dealer (under the hood and on both sides of front wheel wells). Later the paint flaking off started to happen at other parts of the car (ex., top of rear door and on rear tail gate door). Dealer and Honda representative didnt want to fix these other paint problems saying the car was out of warranty. Finally I took the Acura MDX car to a local body shop to paint complete rear tailgate and all other paint issues spots for a total of $1,100."

"After transmission drain and fill around 75k miles transmission began slipping at low speeds. Acura updated transmission computer but still periodically happens with slipping at low speeds. Turning car off and restarting stops the slipping."

"The sunroof leak is a major problem. We believe this is caused by a poorly designed drain hose. There is a YouTube video illustrating this exact problem and fix for our model and year Acura. There is also a small leak in the rear of the car but it drips on the electronics which we believe is the cause of the Bluetooth problem. There is also a YouTube video showing this exact problem and fix for our year and model of Acura."
