"two serious problems 1) dec 2024 engine temperature sensor failed 2) july 2025 plastic engine air manifold cracked/broke; both issues caused the engine to go into "safe" mode (no acceleration). Each issue was costly to fix"

"This model of BMW has had numerous fuel systems issues since Ive owned it. Nearly all of the fuel system parts have been replaced (some more than once). BMW know this is an ongoing problem because they offered a warranty for that specific system and offered to pay for some items outside the warranty. I applied for that and was reimbursed months later. This is greatly affected my experience with this car because almost every 6 months a fuel system-related issue seems to appear."
