It is not present everyday, but is very often. The BMW dealership has said the noise never happens when the car is in for service oil/tires, etc. The sound it makes is like something off balance low tone woo woo woo like on a record player when the album is finished."

"My keyless entry started to work less and less consistently, to the point I actually switched to my other key because I was nervous it would fail completely. The car was still under warranty, so I took it in and had it sorted prior to that expiring. They had the car about 1.5 weeks, found the same issues with the same keys (the second one starting acting up too in their possession), and ordered a new set of keys. Free to me and under warranty"
