"Exhaust manifold had to be replaced. The shutter doors were malfunctioning. Also the EGR system malfunctioned"

"The rear end was making a significant amount of noise that was speed-dependent. I thought it might be the tires as we had just replaced them. We switched to a different tire (Discount Tire allowed us to trade them) and the problem persisted. We took the car to an independent service station and they replaced the right rear wheel bearing. I may have mis-categorized this as a differential issue; it was a wheel bearing problem."

There was/is a US class action for the X3 (including the 2015) on the drive train. This was not covered by BMW Canada I really tried to get BMW Canada involved but I was not successful.""

I have used this small SUV to transport gardening equipment and supplies, frequently heavy loads. At one point I used it to move some pea stone and probably exceded the rated load on the rear axle. the car has served me well, I consider this problem to be the result of my misuse. I had them replaced this moth for about $1200 and the car rides like new, quiet as a mouse.""

HAVE RARELY DRIVEN THIS 2015 X3 SINCE MAY 2024 BECAUSE OF A "NO FIX" HAS BEEN DISCOVERED, CAR IS ESSENTIALLY JUST SITTING. WHAT A SHAME!!! POSSIBLE FIRE MAY OCCUR, EXHAUST MAY COME INTO THE CABIN THROUGH THE CABIN AIR VENTS, AND YES IT HAS !!!!"
