"I was told by the dealer a common problem with Buick Encore GX's and CHEVROLET Trailblazers were the sensors for detecting the car in park before allowing the engine to be shut off. We have to jiggle the shifter until the sensor realizes the car is in park and will allow the car to shut off."

"The EVAP purge pump quit working due to sesitivity to liquid gasoline entering it if the fuel tank is overflled slightly. GM has a recall that is good for 15,000 miles for this problem. I am on my second EVAP purge pump. The dealer tried to charge me $800 the last time, but I reminded them it was under warranty."
