What Owners Say
"Brakes grabbed and did not release several times. Wheels were too hot to touch after that."
Anonymous, OR (2019 Chevrolet Bolt Premier Electric)"Both rear calipers seized and had to be replaced"
Anonymous A., CT (2019 Chevrolet Bolt LT Electric)"We use one pedal driving a lot and apparently the dealer says we allowed rust to develop on the rotors and calipers. Took quite a while to diagnose why the front passenger tire kept heating up - forced us to pull over and lower tire pressure. I think this is an issue for hybrid and electric cars. They haven't been designed for infrequent use."

"The braking system locked up and I had to have the 2019 Bolt towed to the Premiere/Seaside CHEVROLET dealership. They thought the issue was a faulty electronic braking module. That didnt fix the problem. After 7 months, they still dont know what the problem is. Ive been talking to a representative from the Chevrolet Concierge Service for the past month but they havent been much help. They also have refused to give me a loaner while the vehicle has been broken down since February 8, 2025. PLEASE help me if you can!"
