    Exhaust

Muffler, pipes, catalytic converter, exhaust manifold, heat shields, leaks.

    What Owners Say

    Exhaust leaks

""In the summer of 2024, I noticed excessive noise in my exhaust system coming from the engine area. I could at times smell exhaust fumes in the passenger cabin. I took my car to a repair facility to have the system inspected and the failing exhaust components replaced. The service facility said my entire exhaust system including the exhaust manifold (which was cracked) and the two catalytic converters were rusted out and needed replacement. The entire exhaust system was 8 years old and since I drive relatively short trips (about 3 miles each trip one way), I could understand why the components of the exhaust system has rusted out. I have had no other major problems with that vehicle.""

When driving the next day the engine exhibited the same problem. This time it failed to start it all. This time it was the high pressure fuel pump, $850. The car has worked fine since."
