    First Take

The 2025 Chevrolet Equinox redesign carries over the previous generation’s powertrain, but sits on a new platform with a longer wheelbase and wider track. On top of that, the exterior and interior changes update the compact SUV to the look and feel of the recent Blazer EV and Trax, the redesigned midsized Traverse, and the freshened Tahoe and Suburban large SUVs.
