This version of the Impala hadn't changed much since its introduction for the 2000 model year. It handles fairly well and provides very good acceleration. But it isn't particularly well-finished. In addition, the ride is unsettled, the interior is noisy, fit and finish are subpar and the seats are uncomfortable.
