What Owners Say
"The vehicle was only two years old and the A/C compressor failed and had to be replaced. I have owned several vehicles and never experienced any issues with the A/C system. I can't help but feel this was due to poor manufacturing standards. Since the Covid pandemic it seems to that product quality has fallen immensely in all areas of manufacturing. It seems we are paying more money for less reliable equipment"
Anonymous, AB (2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 RST 5.3-L V8)"Leak was at the A/C compressor causing A/C compressor to fail. The A/C compressor was replaced under warranty and the A/C system was recharged."
Anonymous A., CA (2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT 5.3-L V8)"Less than a year after I had the A/C compressor replaced due to failure, the A/C failed again. This time it was due to a refrigerant leak. The dealer repcharged the A/C refrigerant but after several troublshooting step , they were unable to find what had caused the leak or where the leak was located. They suspect it may be in the compressor somewhere. I expect this will not be the last time I have this problem. Sounds like poor quality control during manufacturing steps."
