The Reliability score is based on our latest subscriber survey of 2022 Chrysler Pacifica owners. The owner comments describe problems respondents experienced with this vehicle.

    In-car Electronics

Infotainment system (audio, GPS, phone), rear entertainment system, backup or other camera/sensors, head-up display.

    What Owners Say

    Apple CarPlay

""The pairing is hit or miss. At times doing a bluetooth "reset" (turning it off and back on) will fix it, but there are times when it will not work at all. Sometimes it will just start working randomly.""

    Anonymous, CT (2022 Chrysler Pacifica Touring-L 3.6-L V6)

""It drops the CarPlay often. Have to turn the car off and pair it again. When the CarPlay does not work, your navigation system does not work your phone. Your text does not work on the screen. It works on your phone, but not on the screen, which is a great disadvantage when youre the driver.""

Anonymous, IL (2022 Chrysler Pacifica Touring 3.6-L V6)
    Display screen freezes up

"Screen freezes and reboots numerous times and while driving"

    Anonymous A., IL (2022 Chrysler Pacifica Limited 3.6-L V6)
    Display screen goes blank

""This has only happened a handful of times since we purchased the vehicle, but a couple of those times the display did not come back upon vehicle restart, including the backup camera, which I consider a huge safety consideration.""

    Anonymous, CT (2022 Chrysler Pacifica Touring-L 3.6-L V6)

""Display screen goes blank, back up camera turns on while driving forward, had the computer replaced several times, including the main radio unit several times. Still having the same issues reoccurring.""

Anonymous, TX (2022 Chrysler Pacifica Limited 3.6-L V6)

"The next day after I brought the van home it would not start. I called the dealer and they had it jumped and it still would not start. It was then towed to dealer and the brain system was replaced as they called it. The screen has gone out while driving and rebooted a number of times making the navigation system go out. A number of times the van would not start and finally when it did start took it to the dealer and they were unable to find a issue. That also happened a number of times. I travel back and forth twice a year from Las Vegas to Chicago and this issue with the screen has been a problem. I have recorded it and sent it to the NTSBA and have spoke to the dealer but their response is it doesn't show on the scanner so I guess it doesn't happen! I travel also with my young grandchildren alone in this van and sometimes feel scared this might happen. The dealer seems to be no help because they can not duplicate the issue. I would love to get another van but at this time I am unable to. So with the numerous times the screen has gone out during travel and the takes off my navigation is very scary. The backup camera also going out at times and the rebooting is not normal."

    Anonymous A., IL (2022 Chrysler Pacifica Limited 3.6-L V6)
    Other in-car electronics problem

"Cannot access AM radio controls/tuner. Cannot regulate Comfort controls - heat, a/c unless vehicle is stopped. So, if Im driving on highway and heating or cooling needs adjusting, I have to stop!"

Anonymous, NH (2022 Chrysler Pacifica Unsure 3.6-L V6)
    Radio

"Doesn't always change stations when searching with the selector on the steering wheel"

Anonymous, WI (2022 Chrysler Pacifica Limited 3.6-L V6)

    Climate System

AC compressor, blower (fan) motor, condenser, evaporator, heater system, automatic climate system, electrical failure, refrigerant leakage.

    What Owners Say

    Automatic climate control

"The temperature control completely stopped working and would only blow hot air"

    Anonymous, NJ (2022 Chrysler Pacifica Touring-L 3.6-L V6)
Controls not available on infotainment screen

"Needlessly complicated infotainment screen controls. I cant just switch radio stations or find AM stations while vehicle is moving. Even a front seat passenger is locked out. Give me a good old knob-controlled system!"

Anonymous, NH (2022 Chrysler Pacifica Unsure 3.6-L V6)
    Other climate system problem

""There was a clicking noise coming from under the dash when you turn off the van. The actuator was trying to close the vent, and it would keep clicking until the vent closed.""

    Anonymous, AL (2022 Chrysler Pacifica Touring-L 3.6-L V6)

    Electrical Accessories

Cruise control, clock, warning lights, body control module, keyless entry, wiper motor or washer, tire pressure monitor, interior or exterior lights, horn, gauges, 12V power plug, USB ports, alarm or security system, remote engine start, heated or cooled seats, heated steering wheel, headlights, automatic headlights, automatic wipers, wireless charging pad.

    What Owners Say

    Exterior lights (other than headlights)

""Tail lights do not always illuminate. Took it to the dealer twice (or maybe 3 times), they could not fix it. So we don't drive that vehicle during hours of darkness.""

Anonymous, TX (2022 Chrysler Pacifica Unsure 3.6-L V6)
    Warning lights

"Check engine light keeps coming on taking it to the dealership. They spend all day looking at it. They claim they fix the problem but within 24 to 48 hours the light comes back on."

Anonymous, TX (2022 Chrysler Pacifica Limited 3.6-L V6)

    Exhaust

Muffler, pipes, catalytic converter, exhaust manifold, heat shields, leaks.

    What Owners Say

    Other/unsure

""Stop/start sometimes shuts down engine and cannot start engine. After repair, same problem except using off button beforehand will eliminate problem. Additionally, start/stop works properly under 35 mph, but then it shuts itself off but will still stop completely after a full stop sometimes.""
