This version of the Chrysler Town & Country is far better than the model it replaced. Still, despite some notable features, they didn’t rise to the level needed to compete against better models from Japan and South Korea. We tested the high-end Town & Country Limited. Safety features added with this model include standard stability control and curtain airbags. The ride has also been improved. Inside, the cabin is better finished and the rear windows now roll down. A new option package includes rear seats that swivel to face the third row. But braking and handling performance have dropped, and acceleration and fuel economy are unimpressive. A blind spot detection system is available and is a great find if you run across it.
