"The system seems to need leaks fixed every 3-5 years. Every 5 years I can understand as the under hood environment can get brutal. The system needed leaks fixed and recharged in August 2023 which was completed. One year later the ac is still performing satisfactorily. This time the work was performed by independent shop and not a dealer."

"The truck had a tendency to slowly wander from right to left and then back since I bought the truck in 2010. It was difficult to keep in straight line. At approximately 103,000 miles the mechanic servicing the truck indicated the lower ball joints were worn out. That surprised me since the mileage was low and mainly highway miles. The ball joints have been replaced and the constant slow wandering from side to side has gone away. The truck does not need the constant steering input it needed for too many years. Suspect lower ball joints from the factory? I dont know but I wonder if that was the case."
