The scraping noises were getting louder and louder over a short period of time, so I brought the car into a Ford dealer for diagnosis. I was told the transmission needed a complete rebuild, which they said would be covered by the 8 year / 80,000 mile hybrid warranty. It took a little less than a week to complete, parts and service included."
