"Right front Transaxle drive seal began leaking during a x country trip Sept 2023. I did an oil change before I left and it was not leaking. I drove about 5000 mi, 4000 on interstate highways and did an oil upon return when I noticed it was leaking. I bought this vehicle used with 11000 miles on it in 2019 as a certified preowned vehicle. That gave me an extra year on the warranty which expired 4/2/24, 7 years from the date of manufacture. It cost me $100 at the dealer to get this repair completed under the terms of the warranty in oct 2023. The dealer estimate if the warranty expired was about $550."

Poorly made parts by a supplier."

The first time I took it in they couldn't find the leak so they just added refrigerant. Less than 2 weeks later it just blew hot air again. Again they couldn't find the leak so just added refrigerant and dye. Finally the third time they finally found it. After parts came in it took 2 days to fix it. Despite having a warranty it still cost me over $900. Took 19 weeks from start of problem until it was finally fixed."
