I pulled over, turned the engine off, and let the car rest and then started it up again. I headed back home and didnt drive for about a week due to a hurricane. Afterwards, I took a chance and drove for a year without any problems. About a year later in September 2023, the same problem occurred. The car powered down and would not move. It just slowly coasted and so I pulled over. However, this time the car would not start back up. At this time I called a tow truck and had my car taken to the Ford dealership in Cleveland, Texas. They diagnosed the problem as a throttle body needing replacement. It took one day for the repair. I have had the car since 09/2017. I have put 100,000 miles on it. I pull a camper about 5 times a year. The Expedition has exceeded my expectations for being a used vehicle and my inexperience in pulling a 26 camper.""

Many things can cause this, spark plugs, injector, throttle body, air filter, O2 Sensor, etc. Cleaned/replaced everything but the O2 Sensors. There are 4 of them, they all test OK, so I don't know which one to replace. Hate to spend all the money to replace all 4 if it DOESN'T make the error go away. Engine runs FINE, regardless of the error.""
