Ford made many revisions to the F-150 over the years. In this version of America's perennially best-selling automobile, braking is improved, a revised six-speed automatic transmission boosts fuel economy, and the cabin is quieter. Standard stability control makes handling more secure. A spacious interior and a deep cargo bed are also pluses. On the other hand, the ride is stiff and the engine sounds unrefined when pressed. Crash-test results have been impressive however.
