"The cam phaser timing was going out of time & I just missed the Ford "appreciation repair". The timing needed to be fixed, around $2500. Very common with Ford 3.5 Ecoboost, but Ford would not help at all when right outside the notification & Vancouver, WA Ford even had "checked" the engine while within the time limit but claiming they didn't note any noise. The timing doesn't just go out, it's a slow progression & they know this but will not provide any discount nor support. Completely stonewalling any responsibility for poor design & any willingness to help a repeat F150 customer. I would definitely reconsider on the next purchase."

"The truck suddenly started making noise and driving rough and loud. I took it to Ford with an extended warranty from another company. Ford, nor the warranty company would honor my warranty, saying that the issue was a publication, not a recall. But if I had had a Ford Warranty they would have fixed it free. They had my vehicle for a month until the part came in towards the end of Covid. Numerous F150's had this issue and had to wait for the part to be delivered. It should have been a RECALL. Both Ford and my warranty company said to keep an eye out for the issue to be a Recall, then I could get reimbursed."

"Problem started at less than 100,000 miles, with a grinding noise. Had it replaced. Then a second wheel bearing started going bad, when that was fixed they discovered other issues that needed to be repaired, including axle bearing (howling noise) and front end then needed to be realigned. $3200 in repairs."

"A/C doesn't cool very well. Had work done to repair the recirculation vent in the dashboard. Rear vents blow very weakly,undetectable when seated in rear that they are even on. Air coming from vents on high do not feel cool. Ford techs say it is in spec. But I can tell a difference compared to my other 2005 Ford F250 has cooler output than this truck."
