"Experienced the engine dropping power and unable to accelerate intermittently over about 6-7 mos. A couple of mechanics were unable to identify the problem at first - no errors recorded by the cars detection system. At first the problem would resolve after turning off and restarting the car. Finally got the car in while the check manual light was on and the mechanic was able to diagnose the issue and replace the throttle body. It cost about $300 to get it replaced."

"I started experiencing it a little over a year ago. I have not addressed it yet due to the cost. Also, my area does not require emissions testing, so I guess there is no sense of urgency. I do WANT to address it, for environmental reasons."
