What Owners Say
"AC stopped blowing cold. Repairman replaced compressor about 6 months ago and it has worked. Great ever since."
Anonymous A., GA (2012 Ford Focus Titanium 2.0-L 4 Cyl)"For about 12 months. It was a rattle when idling. A bearing inside the compressor wore out. It was repaired at the dealer."
Anonymous, BC (2012 Ford Focus SEL 2.0-L 4 Cyl)"Compressor failed and costs more to fix then the car is worth."
Anonymous, IL (2012 Ford Focus SEL 2.0-L 4 Cyl)""When fan is turned on a noise starts emanating from the dash like the blades on the fan are hitting some obstruction. It sounds much like someone playing a drum solo with one drumstick and is very annoying. This continues for a couple of minutes, then subsides. It also does the same when the blower is turned off.""
Anonymous, MN (2012 Ford Focus SE 2.0-L 4 Cyl)"Of all things to wear out, I was surprised when my Focuss climate control system blower motor (fan) failed. As its not a user-serviceable part (for me anyway), it had to spend 3 days at my local vehicle heating and air specialists shop. It only cost $495.00 to fix (eye-roll)."
Anonymous A., CA (2012 Ford Focus SEL 2.0-L 4 Cyl)
"One year ago, there was a cyclical noise coming from the front passenger side that my mechanic could not troubleshoot. Finally last September, the compressor clutch seized up. We decided to just remove the belt (which was dedicated to the A/C) and have been going without AC since then."
