While this low-tech solution is effective, it isn't easy to use at night. For 2016, the much better Sync 3 replaced the MyFord Touch system. The 2019 model year brought standard forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking and blind spot warning. Plug-in hybrid models called "Energi" are also available. 2020 was the final year for the Fusion.
