What Owners Say
"This seems to be related to the Sirius XM app only. When I use the Apple Maps app it works fine."
Anonymous, MI (2022 Ford Maverick XLT 2.0-L 4 Cyl turbo)"Even though the vehicle has Bluetooth, one either needs a cable to use Sirius XM (only the Lariat model is wireless), or an adaptor that plugs into the truck's USB port, that makes the phone wireless. I had an adaptor but it quit working after a year, so now I plug in a cable from the phone to the USB port in the truck. Since Sirius updated/changed their app on the phone, it works in the truck whenever it want to. I'll plug the phone in, select the channel on the screen, and it might work or it might not. I'll unplug the phone, plug it back in and Sirius might work or not. I'll occasionally hold down the volume and fast forward buttons on the truck's radio, to update it, and Sirius works for a while, and the Sirius screen on the truck's display might decide to freeze up and I can't change channels, and it no longer displays the song that's actually playing, but one it played three or four songs ago. So I go though the unplug, replug and sometimes it works for days, and sometimes hours. I've had seamless Bluetooth in two prior Fords, and had I known this was going to happen, I'd have purchased the Lariat model (which I really wanted anyway, but there were months long waiting lists). I love the truck otherwise, but this is annoying!"
