The 2020 Transit commercial and passenger van is updated with new powertrains and more safety equipment. The standard engine is a 3.5-liter V6. The turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine carries over. All engines are paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is available for the first time. Driver assist systems such as forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and pedestrian detection are standard. Blind spot warning and adaptive cruise control are optional. There is a 8.0 inch screen running the Sync 3 infotainment system. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility comes standard.
