    Ford Transit First Drive
    Introduction
    Recent updates to the Transit commercial and passenger van include new powertrains and more safety equipment. The standard engine is a 3.5-liter V6. The turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine carries over. Both engines are paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is available for the first time. An all-electric E-Transit model is new for 2022 that offers up to 126 miles of range. Driver assist systems such as FCW, AEB, and pedestrian detection are standard. BSW and adaptive cruise control are optional. There is a 8.0 inch screen running the Sync 3 infotainment system. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility comes standard.
