    Paint And Trim

Paint (fading, chalking, peeling, or cracking), loose interior or exterior trim or moldings, rust.

    What Owners Say

Paint (fading, chalking, cracking, or peeling)

"Within the first year of ownership, all the chrome material around the windows on both driver and passenger side of the vehicle, began to oxidize badly. It is very noticeable when looking at the car in sunlight, and appears as almost a sunburned look on all the chrome trim. Dealership took the car into their detail department to polish the oxidation out which was a huge mistake. Unskilled labor in the detail department of the dealership used an overly abrasive material while polishing the chrome, and caused thousands of micro scratches all over the chrome trim. Dealership failed to take ownership of, or document the problem stating that the oxidation was removed, and satisfactory. I am very unhappy with the result, as the chrome trim looks awful scratched and swirled currently. Will likely use my own money to order all new chrome, but will not buy another car from that particular dealer."

    What Owners Say

    Glass defects

"Had a severe rattling sound in the rear of the vehicle interior, which was persistent and sounded like a series of loud pops and creaks in very close succession, when traveling over any small road undulations. Was taken to the dealership 3 separate times. I found the problem myself while examining the rear windshield area from outside the car. The rear windshield glass was installed carelessly at the factory, leaving the weatherstripping curled and twisted at the top of the windshield, causing audible creaking, flexing and popping sounds as the glass was being allowed to rattle up and down on the twisted weatherstripping while driving. Dealership confirmed the issue on the 3rd visit, and replaced the entire rear windshield and installed all new weatherstripping. Noise is gone."
