    EV Charging

Won't charge at home; won't work with some public chargers; won't fully charge; charge connection; charge port door.

    What Owners Say

    Charging port problem

"charging process stops and starts over consistently"

Anonymous A., IA (2023 Genesis GV60 Advanced Electric)
    Other electric/hybrid charging problem

"Started a few months after purchase. It certainly seems at dealer every couple of months. They say they fixed problem but than another comes up with charging. Other minor things came up with a good fix. Beautiful car, but unless they guarantee with new models problems fixed I would NOT buy again. Love electric cars but remember I have in home charging. Most people do not want to spend extra money. Do it correct or not at all. I saved for the extra cost. Shall wait for 2026 when new cars are out, would love to go back to Toyota but the designs have gotten steal. The Genesis are pleasing to look at.Hope they get better??"

Anonymous, NY (2023 Genesis GV60 Performance Electric)
    Won't fully charge

"Stops charging, overheats while charging, wrong time to start, does not fully charge."

Anonymous, NY (2023 Genesis GV60 Performance Electric)

"Car randomly stops charging when using my Level 2 Chargepoint charger at home. I need to lower my charge amperage from maximum of 48 amps, all the way down to 38 amps (below 10 kwh) in order to get to full 80% charge. Sometimes this never happens, sometimes it happens after an hour, sometimes after 15 mins of charge."

Anonymous, WA (2023 Genesis GV60 Advanced Electric)

"charging process consistently starts and stops.... then restarts"

Anonymous A., IA (2023 Genesis GV60 Advanced Electric)

    Climate System

AC compressor, blower (fan) motor, condenser, evaporator, heater system, automatic climate system, electrical failure, refrigerant leakage.

    What Owners Say

    A/C compressor

"When you start the car and the AC is on, there will be a quiet clicking noise. The dealer was able to make it so the clicking noise lasts only 30 seconds or so. Some part would need to be replaced to fully resolve the issue, but the manufacturer will only pay for the part if the issue is almost continuous."

Anonymous, CO (2023 Genesis GV60 Advanced Electric)

    In-car Electronics

Infotainment system (audio, GPS, phone), rear entertainment system, backup or other camera/sensors, head-up display.
