What Owners Say
"Well known problem was chronic whining noise related to the differential. Dealer was aware and rear differential internals were replaced in one shop visit. Whining noise solved."
Anonymous, (2023 Genesis GV70 Standard 2.5-L 4 Cyl turbo)"Experienced a faint noise at 50-59 mph take your foot off the accelerator goes away engage the accelerator the noise comes back. The differential was replaced once before the noise went away several months later it came back it has been in for diagnosis several times and the tech did not hear finally the last to sit was in they heard the noise and the differential is going to be replaced again. Apparently this is a known issue with this vehicle and several owners have posted about this noise and differential issues there are articles on the differential and how to fix or replace. Took the dealership several times to acknowledge or hear the noise despite my complaint"
Anonymous, MI (2023 Genesis GV70 Sport 2.5-L 4 Cyl turbo)"The car made a whining noise from the rear of the vehicle. The dealer dismantled the differential and discovered metal shavings in it. They rebuilt it and it's been OK since but it was in the shop for a couple of weeks"

"Only got a warning on the instrument cluster. No observed problem. The dealer located the problem and changed out the differential because they said it was not working properly. No problem before or after."
