    GMC Savana

    EPA MPG: NA

    First Take
Designed primarily for commercial purposes, the full-sized Savana van can be purchased in cargo or passenger versions. Eight, twelve, or fifteen-passenger versions are available, as are heavy-duty versions. The tall cargo bay can carry large loads and the rear hinged doors swing open wide to facilitate loading. V6 and diesel engines are offered and all mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. A V8 gas engine is paired with a heavy-duty six-speed automatic. Optional active safety features include FCW, BSW, and lane departure warning.
