""I rely heavily on my back up camera system Five years of getting no help from dealership. They lie and say they fixed it but didn't work when I got home. I have shown screen shots of the navigation system showing a blue or black screen, but since it's sporadic they say they can't fix the problem. I no longer use that dealership service department as they charged me for services they did not provide as I waited for two hours in their customer area. This has been an ongoing problem from the very beginning with absolutely no help from the dealership. They are aware of the problem but will not address it. Anonymous, CA (2000 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT 6.0-L V8)"I have had to replace my navigation card reader as it burned out. The service department claimed it was my fault as I had dropped fluid into the slot. The card reader slot is inside of the council so it's pretty hard to accidentally drop fluid into it. It cost me over $1000.00 to repair. After my next auto update my navigation system again started to have problems. It wasn't even a year since the new card reader was replaced. Fortunately it resolved itself without dealership help. I have had not problems for more than a year."

"It started with an occasional low brake pedal. I finally made an appointment to get it looked after and the brakes totally went out on the way. One of the brake lines gave out due to rust. I had them all replaced instead of one at a time. The vehicle is 25 years old."
