"*Unclear at this time whether this is an Apple iPhone problem or a Honda Civic problem.* Usually within 5 minutes of starting the car and connecting CarPlay, the audio playback would switch from regular speaker mode (with volume scale 1-31 or so) to voice instruction mode (scale 1-11). About a minute later, it will switch back. Its been to dealership and through a month-long Apple care resolution attempt. I believe they gathered enough info to identify and diagnose, but no resolution is pending."

I take my foot off the brake, and the main drivers screen above the steering wheel flashes BRAKE BRAKE BRAKE, the information screen to the right above center stack goes haywire crazy messed up display (2nd time it went blank completely), the car pops out of gear and STOPS DEAD. Both times i held up traffic/almost causing an accident; i had to shut the move the shifter to P, and restart the car. The 1st time the car came back to normal. The 2nd time a month later, the entertainment main screen stayed OFF/black until I drove home... and returned to normal when I turned it off, waited a few minutes and turned it on again. Basic IT reboot steps are disturbing when used in a vehicle."

Additionally, the quality of the phone call sounds are some the worst I have ever had in a car. Phone calls are often dropped. Additionally, the car is very slow in connecting to my phone. I never had these problems with other cars that I have driven while owning my current phone."
