    In-car Electronics

Infotainment system (audio, GPS, phone), rear entertainment system, backup or other camera/sensors, head-up display.

    What Owners Say

    Android Auto

"The problem is that I cannot connect with the USB cable which in turn does not pair android auto."

    Anonymous A., TX (2021 Honda CR-V Hybrid EX 2.0-L 4 Cyl hybrid)
    Apple CarPlay

"Apple CarPlay would crash and then caused the screen to go blank. The screen would have to be restarted."

Anonymous, FL (2021 Honda CR-V Hybrid LX 2.0-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

"This has been a problem since day 1 of the car. The Apple Car Play just diconnects and then I am unable to get it to connect again without a full system restart. Honda blames Apple and the Phone and refuses to fix it. This isn't the issue because any phone connected does the same thing."

    Anonymous A., FL (2021 Honda CR-V Hybrid Touring 2.0-L 4 Cyl hybrid)
External music device interface (e.g., smart phone, MP3 player)

"apple play occasionally refuses to pari then to car"

    Anonymous, MD (2021 Honda CR-V Hybrid EX-L 2.0-L 4 Cyl hybrid)
    Other in-car electronics problem

"All of the warning lights turned on when the car was started. Googling that situation showed others have experienced it - none of the remedies fixed it for me. I took it to the dealer who could not find a cause. After a week of this issue it simply went away."

    Anonymous, MN (2021 Honda CR-V Hybrid EX-L 2.0-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

"Screen frequently changes without any input from me. Not a big deal, but can be frustrating."

Anonymous, NJ (2021 Honda CR-V Hybrid Touring 2.0-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

"The electrical problem was immediate. The car would not start at all and on the dash ran through all electrical errors."

Anonymous, OR (2021 Honda CR-V Hybrid Hybrid 2.0-L 4 Cyl hybrid)
    Phone pairing (e.g., Bluetooth)

"I can pair my wife's phone to the car via USB, But I can't pair mine. I have changed cables but it is no use."

    Anonymous A., TX (2021 Honda CR-V Hybrid EX 2.0-L 4 Cyl hybrid)

"I don't use the Bluetooth for the phone because of issues I've had with pairing the phone. I decided to use a cord to connect the phone to the car. From the first moment I bought the car new, the system does not consistently keep the car and phone connected. I've been told I have to use genuine apple products so I have a steady stream of new Apple cords in my car. Inevitably, the cord will go out after a month or so and there's nothing I can do to fix it, except put another cord on. The cords will then go to my kids who can use them for charging their phones. I never ever ever had this problem in my Subaru. I would use the oldest crappy cords and everything would be connected seamlessly. I've had the Honda dealership look at this several times, and they don't know how to fix it. By the way, they also don't know how to update the map system. This frustrates me to the point that I will not be buying this car again. It has cut out on directions when I'm driving and other Inconvenient times."
