"The climate system no longer cooled the air. A/C compressor was replaced."
Anonymous A., MN (2010 Honda CR-V EX-L 2.4-L 4 Cyl)"The A/C started cutting out (blowing not cooled air) once in a while (maybe 3 times, always on the highway). I brought it to the mechanic and I needed a new compressor. They replaced it and it works great now."
Anonymous A., MA (2010 Honda CR-V EX 2.4-L 4 Cyl)"AC stopped working. Essentially had to replace every AC component. App. $2000 repair job. AC stopped working again 6 months later. Haven't bothered to have it fixed again."
Anonymous, IA (2010 Honda CR-V EX-L 2.4-L 4 Cyl)"It stopped working and had to be fixed and there was a leak."
Anonymous, NY (2010 Honda CR-V 2.4-L 4 Cyl)"Compressor replaced by dealer"
Anonymous, AZ (2010 Honda CR-V LX 2.4-L 4 Cyl)"AC Compressor has been slowly going out over the last 2 years, but every time I took the car to my mechanic, it would work fine. They did find a small leak and charged with freon. The compressor finally died. It cost about $1600 to replace the AC system."
Anonymous, NC (2010 Honda CR-V EX 2.4-L 4 Cyl)"The bearings and seals failed in the compressor."
Anonymous, WI (2010 Honda CR-V EX-L 2.4-L 4 Cyl)"Stopped cooling the car"
Anonymous, MI (2010 Honda CR-V EX-L 2.4-L 4 Cyl)"The AC does not work. This has happened previously. I had the AC unit repaired, and it worked for a few more years."
Anonymous, VT (2010 Honda CR-V EX-L 2.4-L 4 Cyl)"ac compressor quit working completely. cant have that in oklahoma"
Anonymous, OK (2010 Honda CR-V EX 2.4-L 4 Cyl)"Fan was noisy when turned on"
Anonymous, MI (2010 Honda CR-V EX-L 2.4-L 4 Cyl)"This and the expansion valve caused the air to only cool at night or when it was cool outside. Even in the heat, the AC would eventually blow "bearable" air but never what I would consider "cool". I had to sweat it out for a while."
Anonymous A., LA (2010 Honda CR-V EX-L 2.4-L 4 Cyl)"Air Conditioner lost ability to cool. When it was diagnosed, it was the condenser that was bad and had to be replaced. Works great since."
Anonymous, IN (2010 Honda CR-V EX-L 2.4-L 4 Cyl)"loss of refrigerant tied to buying new tires. I believe the service people created the leak."

"Initially, the air conditioning system wouldnt work or would only work when we first started the car. After we had parked the car and then started driving again it wouldnt work. After this happened almost every time wr drove the car, wr had it checked by our mechanic. Initially, we decided against fixing the problem because it would cost about $1000 +_ to fix which seemed like a lot to spend on such an old car. However several months after the diagnosis we changed our mind and had it fixed. That was definitely more cost effective than buying a new to us vehicle. We havent had any more problems since the"
