At this point, dealer service noted that coolant pipe o-ring and thermostat housing were not mating correctly, causing coolant leak. Thermostat housing and o-ring were replaced by dealer at no charge. Problem appears to be resolved."

    Anonymous, NJ (2013 Honda CR-V 2.4-L 4 Cyl)

    Anonymous, SC (2013 Honda CR-V EX 2.4-L 4 Cyl)
    Heater system

"The heater core becomes plugged. There is a technical bulletin out to flush it. Started when purchased. Was the summer time so did not check the heat when purchased. Completely stopped working. Would of hoped Honda covered this with an extended no questions warranty."

    Anonymous A., WA (2013 Honda CR-V EX 2.4-L 4 Cyl)
    Other climate system problem

"During last summer's unrelenting heat, the passenger side air conditioner worked much better and faster than the driver's side. I took it to the dealership, and they confirmed that it was a problem. They could not give me an estimate of the problem, how long it would take to fix it, or exactly what the problem was without taking the system apart. Without knowing how much it would cost to fix the issue, I decided to live with it for now."

    Anonymous, TX (2013 Honda CR-V EX-L 2.4-L 4 Cyl)

    "all four struts needed replacement"

    Anonymous, CA (2013 Honda CR-V EX-L 2.4-L 4 Cyl)
    Power steering

"Rack & Pinion end bushing worn, causing shimmy (no oil leak). OEM part unavailable, got remanufactured part from Detroit Axle. About 4 months later, power steering began shutting down occasionally. Cycling engine off and on resets the fault. Didn't happen while shop was test driving it and no codes present. Finally, last week, it shut down while we were not far from another shop so we drove to the shop and kept engine running until they read the codes. Had 2 codes for the torque sensor, one was "torque sensor out of range". I've sent a query to Detroit Axle (part came with lifetime warranty), but no response yet. Replacing the R & P is a big, expensive job, but I believe the problem is in the servo which comes with the R&P, so I'm hoping we can get just the servo exchanged."

    Anonymous, NH (2013 Honda CR-V 2.4-L 4 Cyl)

    Anonymous, LA (2013 Honda CR-V LX 2.4-L 4 Cyl)

"The passenger side rear body molding where it connects just under the taillight has come loose a little bit and it leaks water into the spare tire well when it rains. This has been going on about 3 years now and apparently is a common issue with the CRV in this year and and others until they changed the design. But with Honda not offering a fix or even acknowledging the issue and basically turning a blind eye on the issue turned me away. Basically a cheap way of attaching the panel with a sticky type of strip instead of an actual fastener."

    Anonymous, AL (2013 Honda CR-V LX 2.4-L 4 Cyl)
    Other noises & leaks problem

"After a collision with damage to the front end, the vehicle had a peculiar noise. It was checked out at the garage and i was told it was the alternator. It was replaced and the noise is still thereit is like a whirring noise when the car is running. I think it may be something in the engine, or transmission"
