    What Owners Say

    Android Auto

"None of the usb ports work properly. Never have and dealer hasn't solved or did not ever address the problem"

    Anonymous, IL (2019 Honda CR-V LX 2.4-L 4 Cyl)

"Dead Battery on a that had been replaced 2 years prior due to dying and leaving us stranded. It was fixed by being put on a charger over night. Luckily we had one the first battery died while we were out of town. Battery was tested and found to be fine. We were told not to let the car sit without running it but it had only been 2 weeks since it had been used. The car only uses Android Auto by plugging into the usb port. At times it does not connect and you have to unplug and re-plug the cord. This can happen at anytime not just when first plugging in. Loosing directions in the middle of a busy city and trying to re-plug is frustrating. Spoke to the dealer, they said they had had complaints but did not have a repair for it as of August 2024."

    Anonymous A., (2019 Honda CR-V EX-L 1.5-L 4 Cyl turbo)

"Started July 30, not resolved yet but they're working on it"

    Anonymous, ON (2019 Honda CR-V 1.5-L 4 Cyl turbo)

"At about 80,000 the check engine light came on, and the code indicated that the problem was with a fuel onjector. It supposedly could not be cleaned or otherwise repaired, so needed to be replaced, but you can't replace just one, you have to replace the set. Fortunately, we had purchased a 100.000 mile bumper to bumper warranty when we purchased the vehicle, so the repair was covered by the warranty"

    Anonymous A., NH (2019 Honda CR-V EX 1.5-L 4 Cyl turbo)
    Fuel pump

The dealer replaced the millimeter wave radar sensor but vehicle failed again almost immediately. Vehicle was towed to shop 2 times. The dealer was finally able to determine what the issue was but vehicle was out of commission for 2 weeks."

    Anonymous, CO (2019 Honda CR-V Touring 2.4-L 4 Cyl)

"The AC system totally failed just before the 3 year Honda warranty was about to expire. I was told this was not covered by the warranty until the day BEFORE I brought my vehicle in to be repaired. Obviously there had been many similar problems with the AC. I was lucky that my car was fixed on that particular day - had it been any earlier, I would have been charged for this repair. It was fixed and now I purchased an extended vehicle warranty for future issues."

    Anonymous, FL (2019 Honda CR-V EX-L 2.4-L 4 Cyl)

"Compressor leaked Freon, shaft seal. I noticed the oily residue while changing the engine oil. Took it in under the extended warranty for that specific issue. Honda repaired it."

    Anonymous A., PA (2019 Honda CR-V EX-L 1.5-L 4 Cyl turbo)

"Had a freon line replaced under warranty when AC stopped blowing cold air. Had same problem out of warranty and the dealer suggested replacing both lines even though only one had a leak. I only replaced 1 at the cost of about $900. I filed a claim with Honda and was reimbursed about $700. Then received correspondence from Honda that there is an issue with the seal on the compressor that cause refrigerant leaks. This of course after 2 probably unnecessary freon line changes and money out of my pocket. In addition, not having my vehicle to use."

    Anonymous A., CA (2019 Honda CR-V Touring 1.5-L 4 Cyl turbo)

The tow truck driver told me it was just the dead battery. He checked itjump started it. He said he would tell Honda. I guess they didnt listen. This was very annoying to me and neighbours since the alarm would go off frequently and without warning or reason. I ended up having to disconnect the vehicle battery completely to stop the noise. I took it in for service asap and it took a few days to get the part and correct the issue."

Anonymous, ON (2019 Honda CR-V Touring)
    Other electrical system problem

"The battery discharged with no warning. The car displayed many system problems. It had power but would not start. The mechanic told me that when the battery is low on these cars, the diagnostic system provides lots of misleading information. Because it indicated major engine problems, I had it towed.
