    In-car Electronics

Infotainment system (audio, GPS, phone), rear entertainment system, backup or other camera/sensors, head-up display.

    What Owners Say

    Apple CarPlay

"The cable connecting my phone is not consistent. Most of the time there is delay and sometimes it is a very long delay. That is frustrating because you start the then wait for it to load to start navigation since there is no in built GPS"

Anonymous, ON (2023 Honda CR-V LX 1.5-L 4 Cyl turbo)
    Phone pairing (e.g., Bluetooth)

"Frequently need to repair the phone. Not a problem but an annoyance"

Anonymous, VA (2023 Honda CR-V EX 1.5-L 4 Cyl turbo)

"The car audio system often doesn't recognize or pair with my cell phone. Sometimes, I have had to turn my cell phone off and restart it to get it to pair with the car."

    Anonymous, KY (2023 Honda CR-V EX-L 1.5-L 4 Cyl turbo)
    Voice control commands

"The problem is not resolved. The voice command comes on almost every time I start the car and drive a short distance. It comes on by itself and shuts off my car radio, disconnects my cell phone, and stops all audio services. The dealer told me it was a problem with the car Wi-Fi and that I just needed to turn my phone off every time I got in the car. That is nearly impossible since my hearing aids are paired to my phone, I have music on my phone that I play through my radio, my GPS is on my phone and connects through Wi-Fi. There are other features that are lost if I turn my cell phone Wi-Fi off every time I get in the car. The dealer has been absolutely worthless in dealing with the issue."

    Anonymous, KY (2023 Honda CR-V EX-L 1.5-L 4 Cyl turbo)

    Electrical Accessories

Cruise control, clock, warning lights, body control module, keyless entry, wiper motor or washer, tire pressure monitor, interior or exterior lights, horn, gauges, 12V power plug, USB ports, alarm or security system, remote engine start, heated or cooled seats, heated steering wheel, headlights, automatic headlights, automatic wipers, wireless charging pad.

    What Owners Say

    12V battery

"At 2000 miles the battery died. The dealer drove over and replaced it for free but it seemed very odd to have a new battery fail."

    Anonymous A., VA (2023 Honda CR-V EX-L 1.5-L 4 Cyl turbo)
    Horn

"The horn for this vehicle is wayyyy toooo low! It's almost silent. The driver's seat is wayyyy tooo low as well. The sun come's right into the driver's eyes blinding the driver. The sun visor does not help at all."

    Anonymous A., TX (2023 Honda CR-V Sport 1.5-L 4 Cyl turbo)
    Keyless entry

"The locking system is arbitrary and locks itself without warning. It has happened when I was fueling the car, or when I simple open the door and then shut it without entering the car or starting it. I was locked out a few times before I started carrying the key fob at all times. I don't trust it at all."

Anonymous, OH (2023 Honda CR-V Sport Unsure)
    Wiper motor or washer

"The wash fluid does not dispense appropriately. On the drivers side the fluid dispenses at the far left edge of the window near the door; on the passenger side it dispenses in the center of the full windshield. The cleaning systems is useless as it does not clean the window at all. My dealership agrees, but says there is no way to upgrade or change the wipers."

Anonymous, OH (2023 Honda CR-V Sport Unsure)

AC compressor, blower (fan) motor, condenser, evaporator, heater system, automatic climate system, electrical failure, refrigerant leakage.

Shocks or struts, ball joints, tie rods, wheel bearings, alignment, steering linkage (includes rack and pinion), power steering (pumps and hoses, leaks), wheel balance, springs or torsion bars, bushings, electronic or air suspension.

    What Owners Say

Steering linkage (includes rack and pinion)

"Steering became sticky and unsafe to operate especially at highway speeds (which was verified by dealer). So far the vehicle has been at dealer for over two months awaiting parts. Apparent, I am told it could be another 2 to 4months before parts are available. Dealer does not know when parts will be available. On the positive side Dealer did arrange for a loaner. I like the car but would never deal with Honda again as this waiting period is totally unacceptable after paying them $45,000 for a new car."

    Anonymous, ON (2023 Honda CR-V EX-L 1.5-L 4 Cyl turbo)
    Tire wear is uneven

"Two (2) of the Bridgestone ecopia 422 tires internal Belts had Shifted and caused terrible whopping noises and vibration."

Squeaks, rattles, wind noises, seals and/or weather stripping, air and water leaks.

    What Owners Say

    Squeaks or rattles

"The interior panel on the driver's side squeaks constantly. It probably wasn't security attached in assembly. It's not a deal breaker, but takes away from overall satisfaction with my vehicle."

Anonymous, NC (2023 Honda CR-V EX Unsure)

    Paint And Trim

Paint (fading, chalking, peeling, or cracking), loose interior or exterior trim or moldings, rust.
