What Owners Say
""Research has shown that there is an accessable printed circuit where seasonal temperature fluctuations have weakened some solder joints to the point of intermittent breakage. YouTube provides some videos on how to DIY fix it, which I am capable of. I plan to fix it myself before next winter, when the problem arises. This is apparently a common problem with 2016s and maybe beyond. I don't know how much my Honda dealership would charge for this repair. They might claim a major computer problem.""
Anonymous A., ID (2016 Honda Fit Unsure 1.5-L 4 Cyl)""Gas gauge display go off in cold weather, probably a wiring contact, started this winter, have not fixed""
Anonymous A., VT (2016 Honda Fit EX 1.5-L 4 Cyl)""Odometer/fuel gauge blank out on cold days. Took apart and fixed a cold solder joint and so far, no more problems. Wiper bale from day one world make noise no one could figure out. Found the angle of the blade to glass needed adjustment. Use an adjustable wrench and move the angle about 1.5 mm so blade was trailing instead of pushing and that fixed it.""
Anonymous, MA (2016 Honda Fit EX 1.5-L 4 Cyl)"Screen randomly goes blank on start-up. It then may or may not turn back on while driving and or next start up sequence"
Anonymous, PA (2016 Honda Fit LX 1.5-L 4 Cyl)"My Bluetooth system pairs with my phone and I am able to make calls. However, I can hear the other person on the line, but they cannot hear me. I went to get this problem addressed recently at a Honda service center, and they advised that nothing could be done except to replace the entire Bluetooth system which would cost a couple thousand dollars."
