"Paint started chipping and peeling from the top of my white Odyssey near the tailgate. It has progressed to about 1/4 of the entire top now. Bare metal is exposed in a large area. Honda says they can't do anything but repaint at a huge cost. Talking to a body shop, it seems to be a known problem with this model - especially white - when left outside the sun seems to bake and peel the paint. Wife can't see it so not a problem to her... I can, and it is a real problem to me."

"Paint is peeling off the roof. It was included in a recall for peeling paint on the roof and tailgate. Repainted the tailgate in 2019 because it was peeling. That was covered under warranty. Now the roof has started peeling, but it's no longer under warranty."

"Battery cable came loose while driving, leaving me with no electrical system. I was able to pull over to side of road, but I literally locked in my vehicle. I couldn't open the doors or roll down the windows, so I couldn't take care of the problem without getting outside help. Thankfully, my phone battery had enough charge to call for help. But I couldn't get defective part replaced, either. All service could do was squeeze clamp tighter. The only salvation I have is to pray every time I drive the vehicle--or purchase a new vehicle."

"I had brake work done at on this vehicle at the dealer many times and the pads and rotors dont last long. My last repair was done at a independent shop so hopefully It will last longer with aftermarket parts."

"The problem was very abrupt, in Nov. 2023. Suddenly took a lot of cranking to start, had a local garage jumpstart it. When it happened again, had AAA start it, they determined the battery was unable to properly charge. They replaced it, resolved the problem. Total of 2 weeks of issues."
