"closed the drivers door and the driver side mirror (just the mirror insert itself) fell out of its housing. There is a recall for this, but my car has already had the recall done."

"Mirror was subject to recall. Replacement mirror was so distorted it was immediately replaced. The replacement mirror was only marginally better, definitely not the quality one thinks of with Honda. It took a call to Honda National Support and another visit to the dealer to work on the problem again. Eventually the mirror, while not optically perfect, was better. The poor quality of the initial replacement mirror was shocking (and that the dealer would put it on my car. The quality of the second remplacment mirror was not so shocking as it was disappointing."

"Power mirrors sometimes do not fold or unfold. Multiple tries will eventually move the mirrors."

"Driver seat power control began making loud noise when moving the seat. It required replacing the entire seat because of the integrated motor. Without warranty it would have cost over $2,000 to repair/replace."

Pulsation or vibration

"Pulsation while braking has been increasing over the past year. At 60k miles this would be normal wear on most vehicles. But our experience with our previous 2016 Pilot has raised the bar very high it only had brake pad wear/replacement at 60k. Replacing the rotors and pads on the 2021 Pilot will cost a couple hundred dollars more than pads alone. I think the distance-following-cruise-control and emergency-braking systems may be the difference that caused this rotor warping/failure. Weve not yet replaced the brakes, but will in the next month."
