    Road Test

This version of the Accent is a significant improvement over the previous generation. It is pleasant to drive with a relatively comfortable and quiet ride. Fuel economy is very good, but trails the best in its class. Unfortunately, ABS may be difficult to find, and its omission hurts braking performance. Our GS hatchback came well equipped for the money, but the higher end GLS is not a particularly great deal.
