"The system stopped cooling. I took the car to a garage where the tech identified 2 leaks, one at the condeser one in the dashboard. The repair would have taken 2 work days at a cost of about $1700. I opted not to repair it, since that's about the value of the car today."

"Transmission several times recently has not shifted properly. While driving smoothly I felt two quick bumps (hiccoughs). First time engine revved to 3000rpms and underperformed. It happened 4 times in next few weeks. But engine didnt rev. Check engine light came on each time, and each time corrected itself after the 2nd time engine was turned off then, and later turned on. I immediately took it to mechanic and was transmission fluid was overfilled. It had recently been serviced for tire repair or replacement a few weeks before, by my regular mechanics shop."
