Anonymous A., IA (2015 Hyundai Elantra SE 1.8-L 4 Cyl)

"We bought the car & after approximately 2 months & less than 3,000 miles the check engine light came on. When diagnosed it was for oil pressure. Upon them testing it the oil pump was at 14 pounds of pressure instead of 45. They had to replace engine & it took 3 weeks."

Anonymous A., (2015 Hyundai Elantra SE 1.8-L 4 Cyl)

"Part of a wider issue with Hyundais. They replaced the engine almost painlessly except for the stock challenges they faced. They supplied a rental during that time and after the fisco in Ontario ensured that they moved vehicles around and maintained. My issue was with the additional vehicle failures that appeared immediately afterwards and there were a lot as mentioned. Poor resale value, and their great handling of their engine failure aside, I wont be purchasing another Hyundai."
