What Owners Say
""The engine suffered a camshaft failure. It was not under warranty because we are the 2nd owners. It cost $7000 to repair and over a month of time because of parts and technician shortages. Further, the tech took the car for a test drive and got into an accident that required body panels to be replaced. It was one of the worst vehicle-related experiences I've had to deal with.""
Anonymous A., PA (2015 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited 3.3-L V6)"I service the vehicle according to the service schedule. At 125,000 miles, I noticed the oil level was very low. Had it towed. Mechanic said almost out of oil. Said Hyundai engines noted for burning a lot of oil. I then took to Hyundai dealer. Mechanic said same thing. No solution. Both my and Hyundai mechanics said only solution was new engine."

"Apparent bearing failure. The engine simply came to a halt one day on the road. The engine was replaced. Hyundai KNEW about this problem and remained silent about it although apparently it was not uncommon."
