    Transmission Major

Transmission rebuild or replacement, torque converter, premature clutch replacement.

    What Owners Say

Other major transmission & clutch problem

"I blew out a tire and called AAA. I told them that I had a compressor and a liquid of some kind to fix the tire. AAA told me that they can only deal with spare tires so my car had to be towed."

    Transmission rebuild or replacement

"repeat of other comments, same car, i only one one 2022 santa fe"

Anonymous, TX (2022 Hyundai Santa Fe SEL 2.5-L 4 Cyl turbo)

"I started my Santa Fe and pressed R but the car didn't move. I pressed D and the car still didn't move. The dealer ordered a new transmission and installed it when it came in."

Anonymous, MA (2022 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy 2.5-L 4 Cyl turbo)

"The vehicle would not shift gear at all. The problem was resolved under warranty with a new transmission assembly replacement."

Anonymous A., KY (2022 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy 2.5-L 4 Cyl turbo)

"Notice that the transmission was starting to slip every now and then. Then a warning notice came up which told me to stop driving the car immediately and contact repair. The dealer had to replace the transmission and was in the shop for 32 day."

Anonymous, MI (2022 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy 2.5-L 4 Cyl turbo)

"Started with about 45000 miles. Would hear a small "clunk", transmission would disengage while the engine was running. Nothing would fix it except turning the car off and restarting. This would normally get it to work again. There would happen with no engine warning lights, so they could not diagnose it. They did a software update and the next time it happened they determined the transmission needed to be replaced. At 45000 miles."

Anonymous, NY (2022 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited 2.5-L 4 Cyl turbo)
