    In-car Electronics

Infotainment system (audio, GPS, phone), rear entertainment system, backup or other camera/sensors, head-up display.

    What Owners Say

    Backup or other camera/sensors

"when parking it does not come on. Only in reverse."

Anonymous, FL (2025 Hyundai Santa Fe SE 2.5-L 4 Cyl turbo)
    Other in-car electronics problem

"The day after buying it, the fingerprint verification button wouldn't work even though they helped me put mine in. When I went back to complain they asked me to try deleting and reinstalling the fingerprint, which I did. It worked great for a few days, but now it's glitching every few times I have tried to use it, forcing me to put in my passcode. I'm just going to live with it for the time being."

Anonymous A., (2025 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy 2.5-L 4 Cyl turbo)

""The device would not sync with the bluelink system. We were advised that it was a computer glitch, but it took many calls and even had to leave the vehicle with the dealer for a week in order to resolve the issue.""

Anonymous A., IL (2025 Hyundai Santa Fe SEL 2.5-L 4 Cyl turbo)

    Noises/Leaks

Squeaks, rattles, wind noises, seals and/or weather stripping, air and water leaks.

Anonymous A., NY (2025 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited 2.5-L 4 Cyl turbo)

    Exhaust

Muffler, pipes, catalytic converter, exhaust manifold, heat shields, leaks.

    What Owners Say

    Other/unsure

"The engine, turbo and transmission just dont sink up well. If your are at a stop and you need to accelerate fast, forget it. Its as it the pedal need to think if it wants to send a signal to the throttle body. You just dont go. It scares the heck out of me. The second is when it does say hello lets get moving fast and your front tires just spin as it you have no weight on the front end. If I sell it I lose 10s of thousands of dollars on depreciation."

Anonymous, TX (2025 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy 2.5-L 4 Cyl turbo)

    "Dual clutch"

Anonymous, MT (2025 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy 2.5-L 4 Cyl turbo)

    Brakes

Premature pad/rotor wear, pulsation or vibration, antilock system, parking brake, master cylinder, calipers, squeaking, brake failure, regenerative braking.

    What Owners Say

    Other brakes problem

""Brakes would get stiff on the highway and ESC and ABS lights came on. Technicians were eventually able to replicate the issue and isolated the issue to a problem with the brake line pressure for the brake assistance and the pressure issue went back to the check valve. The part was replaced under warranty, which put us in a loaner car for about a week. There have been no other issues since.""

    What Owners Say

    Cruise control

""There is the on-going problem associated with the driver attention camera. If anything happens to any of the sensors or that camera (as already described), there is no cruise control. Why not have a traditional cruise control system as a back-up for when all those fancy unreliable sensors go haywire?""
