"We have had no problems after the engine was replaced but it had to be replaced due to engine blown out which is a problem with this model. Due to it being an issue, Hyundai totally replaced it at no cost but would jot do it until it went out."

"Engine cam and valves had a problem that caused the "do not drive" warning light to come on. This was covered by a class action legal suit that was filed with the warranty extended to 120,000 miles so even though the engine was replaced the cost was entirely covered by Hyundai. Biggest issue is that the car was out of commission awaiting repair for about 2 weeks."

"was shocked to see that my paint was peeling on my car it started out as a the size of a 50 cent piece, and now peeling across the back windshield from and all around the car in spots. The car is white and I purchased it used without ant paint peeling or cracking. I would love to it started peeling approximately 9 months after I got it. get it repainted but it's not in my budget. I should have been more cautious when getting a used car. You live and learn!"

Exterior lights (other than headlights)

"the portion of the tail lights and brake lights that are on the outside edges of the rear of the car are LED lights that are operated by a circuit board in the Hyundai "technology package". Several resisters on the circuit board were not soldered correctly and come loose. This causes that portion of the brake and tail light to blink or not work at all. The tail/brake light assembly component has to be replaced at 500-700$ for each side or your have to cut into the light fixture and repair the circuit board yourself. I did the repair myself one side myself but to cut into the sealed assembly and do the repair requires some skill, tools and courage that most people would not want to try."
