    In-car Electronics

Infotainment system (audio, GPS, phone), rear entertainment system, backup or other camera/sensors, head-up display.

    What Owners Say

External music device interface (e.g., smart phone, MP3 player)

"Sometimes the car will only pair with my phone when I connect them before the car starts. It is very finicky. For some reason, my audio books app would come on every time I connected my phone to the car for some reason. One time when paired with my phone, I got a series of spam calls."

Anonymous, NC (2024 Hyundai Tucson SE 2.5-L 4 Cyl)
    Phone pairing (e.g., Bluetooth)

"The Car pairs with both my wifes phone and my phone simultaneously and block any other device from pairing at the same time"

    Anonymous, TX (2024 Hyundai Tucson)

"Sound from infotainment system intermittently but frequently fades to barely audible for a few seconds, then returns to normal volume, no matter which radio, media, satellite, etc is source selected."

Anonymous, ON (2024 Hyundai Tucson SEL 2.5-L 4 Cyl)

"When backing up, the radio volume gets quieter, but sometimes it turns off and won't come back on until I click the radio power button several times. Mostly just annoying, so we haven't taken it in yet."

Anonymous, NC (2024 Hyundai Tucson SE 2.5-L 4 Cyl)
    Speakers

"See comments about "radio" - they're related."

Anonymous, ON (2024 Hyundai Tucson SEL 2.5-L 4 Cyl)

Anonymous, CO (2024 Hyundai Tucson 2.5-L 4 Cyl)

"Tire Blow out on the highway going 60. I continued until I was able to get off the highway for about 7 miles. Called for help from a gas station. I had gotten the emergency help from Hyundai when I bought the car. It was great. They put my spare on after about an hour of waiting. They called me during thatvhour to make surecI was in a safe place."

Anonymous A., FL (2024 Hyundai Tucson SE 2.5-L 4 Cyl)

    Fuel System/Emissions

Sensors (O₂, or oxygen, sensor), emission-control devices (includes EGR), fuel-injection system, fuel gauge/sender, fuel pump, problems filling up the tank.

    What Owners Say

    Fuel injection system

"At 1500 miles it didn't want to start but finally did. Took to dealership and they thought they found the problem. Picked it up but did the same thing the next day. Took back to dealership. Picked up a few days later and a week later it didn't want to start at all and check engine light came on and it was running really rough when it finally did start after about 5 attempts. Took back to dealership once again. This time the check engine light was still on and they were able to pull the code. They had the car 2 1/2 weeks and replaced all the fuel injectors and now it runs great. I should not have had any problems with a brand new car. The dealership I bought it from was unwilling to help at all with the problem so the dealership I did use for this issue was amazing. I will probably not buy another hyundai."

Anonymous, TN (2024 Hyundai Tucson SEL 2.5-L 4 Cyl)

Anonymous, CA (2024 Hyundai Tucson SEL 2.5-L 4 Cyl)

    Transmission Minor

Gear selector and linkage, transmission computer, transmission sensor or solenoid, clutch adjustment, rough shifting, slipping transmission, leaks.

    What Owners Say

    Slipping transmission

"The problem just started in the last few weeks (the car is only 4 months old). Sometimes when accelerating from a dead stop (stoplight / stop sign) the transmission just dogs out as I step on the gas the engine RPMs are going higher but the car is barely moving. It has created several scary moments while trying to make left hand turns when the break in traffic closes in while Im trying to turn. I will be calling the service dept ASAP"
