    In-dash navigation system (GPS)

"TomTom navigation program is not user friendly. Frustrating to use. Garmin navigation in previous vehicles was superb."

    What Owners Say

    Premature brake wear

"Brake wear beyond acceptable limits began at probably 40,000 miles, this in spite of the fact that I am NOT a brake rider nor tow anything. Never had this problem before, much less at 40,000 miles!"

Anonymous, VA (2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Limited 3.6-L V6)
    Rotors

"Vibration began at about 42,000 miles and got worse. Shop told me the rotors were worn and warped. All rotors were replaced as were all brake pads. NEVER had this happen before."

Anonymous, VA (2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Limited 3.6-L V6)

    What Owners Say

    Keyless entry

"Car would not recognize fob as being in the vehicle and would not start. Was able to fix by getting out of the car and using remote start (which surprisingly worked). After that was able to drive car and the problem did not occur again before I brought it in for other unrelated recalls and they corrected the fob proximity sensor."

Anonymous, NC (2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Limited 3.6-L V6)

    Paint And Trim

Paint (fading, chalking, peeling, or cracking), loose interior or exterior trim or moldings, rust.

Anonymous, NY (2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Laredo 3.6-L V6)

    Noises And Leaks

Squeaks, rattles, wind noises, seals and/or weather stripping, air and water leaks.

    What Owners Say

    Squeaks or rattles

"Rattle in headliner since new. Took to dealer multiple times but no dealer would put in the effort to fix the problem. The dealer are the main problem with the Jeep."

Anonymous, MA (2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Limited 3.6-L V6)

    Climate System

AC compressor, blower (fan) motor, condenser, evaporator, heater system, automatic climate system, electrical failure, refrigerant leakage.

    What Owners Say

    Evaporator

"The Jeep uses a new type of freon that my mechanic has seen cause many problems with cars that use it. The AC system was making a noise when first purchased and I told the dealer but they said they checked it out and everything was ok. This kind of problem is often pushed down the road by the dealership until the warranty expires so they don't have to pay for it which I believe happened in this case. It is a very expensive fix, $3000 at the dealership. Even if I have my mechanic fix it, I still have to go back to the dealer for the freon as it is only available at the dealership, another scam. The new freon is not readily available. The car is actually my daughters, and she loves it but I was against purchasing it for the very reason that jeep has a bad reliability reputation. My wife and I have driven Toyota's and Lexus for many years and never had any issues and love both of them. I am of the belief that once you own a Lexus, you're spoiled."
