    "Screen freezes up when using the NAV System, also freezes up when playing Sirius Stations and does not synchronize with the dashboard as to what artist/song is playing, freezes up and boots down when NAV, CD aux and radio is being used."

    "Multiple problems with the infotainment system. The screen would lock up, go blank and issues using push to speak commands. First noticed when vehicle was 3 months old. Intermittent frequency. The highest frequency was 6 times in one month. Software update due out "by end of Q3/23", pushed to "by end of Q4/23", pushed to "by end of Q1/24. Over that period of time the push to speak commands (for phone, Pandora and navigation through Android Auto) started working intermittently. Jeep finally decided to replace the radio/infotainment system. New radio has been for approximately 1 month. Have not seen an issue with the screen freezing up or going blank but still have an issue have an Intermittent issue with the push to speak commands for Pandora."

    An air bag that does not deploy during a crash increases the risk of injury.
    Summary:
    Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2021-2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L vehicles. An improperly secured connector for the front seat side air bags (SAB) may prevent the air bags from deploying. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 214, "Side Impact Protection."
    What should you do:
    Dealers secured the connector, free of charge. All affected vehicles have been remedied. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 19, 2024. Owners may contact FCA customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA's number for this recall is B3B.
