"The front interior dash trim is slowly rolling up on itself. The dealer has no response to why or what to do. It's a slow enough issue I'll probably keep ignoring but it's not a good look."

"We had to have the leather dashboard replaced because the heat caused the leather to pull up off the dash. When this occurs, the WHOLE dashboard has to be replaced. When looking at the replacement dashboard, it was evident that the leather is cut too short and not secured well enough to avoid this same thing from occurring. The repairman said he had replaced these dashboards before and all of them are the same way. (Leather cut too short) We have had the replacement for about 5 years and the heat while sitting out in the sun caused the same problem. When will the manufacturers stop worrying about their own pocketbook and think about the consumer when we pay lots of money for these vehicles and the quality is pathetic. Greed has become the manufacturers soul purpose, not quality anymore. God help us all!"

"One time the engine lights came on and within 1-2 minutes, while I was trying to find a place to pull off, totally shut my engine down while I was driving and I couldn't control it. It was very frightening because I was on a highway. It was towed in but nothing was found wrong. According to the dealer, "it just needed to be reset." A few months later, the Engine lights came on indicating overheating. Each time we had our vehicle towed to the dealer. They would say it was fixed. We would drive it home. Next day, it would overheat. This occurred 3 or 4 times. (They said they replaced all kinds of parts that was causing the issue. So we paid for a lot of parts and labor each time.) Finally it was at the dealership for over a month without resolving the problem and they said the engine was blown. (This would have been due to them test driving it, because it was not blown when initially taken to the dealer.) Said the only way to fix it was to buy a new motor for $11,000-12,000. Dealer did not feel responsible for blowing the engine while in their shop. No other options were offered. While at the dealer, they also destroyed our wood trim inside the vehicle. I was devastated. It was at this point we found out that there were "NO" certified repairmen at this dealership to work on Jeeps or other cars they serviced. We were in desperate need of this car because I was driving to doctor visits and hospital over 100 miles away as my husband was, and did have, major surgery during this time period. We finally had it towed to a repair shop that found us a used motor and had the engine replaced."

"Cooler failed needed replacing"

"This car has an AGM battery located under the front passenger seat. It went out on a recent trip. Fortunately I was able to use my AAA plan to jump start it twice before I found a Jeep dealer that had the right battery to replace my failed one. Be aware, this is not a repair the average person can do. Special tool is needed for the battery terminals. And a very awkward battery removal for an average 75 year old."

"Clunky noise in left front in dashboard. Have never been able to isolate. Started about five years ago."
