Anonymous, NJ (2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 3.6-L V6)
    Evaporator

Anonymous, NY (2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 3.6-L V6)
    Refrigerant leaks

""After purchasing the Jeep this winter, we needed the AC on a very warm April day. That is when we learned the AC system was not blowing cold air. Dealer discovered it was not recharged after a pre-sale repair. No leaks were discovered or other repairs were needed and the AC has worked well since.""

Anonymous, NJ (2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 3.6-L V6)

""Over the last several months, the Jeep started making a gurgling and hissing sound in the dashboard whenever I turned on the A/C. It progressively got worse over time, and after some research and discussion with the dealership service department, it sounded like it was a coolant leak. I charged it back up myself with some (expensive) R-1234yf from the store, but the sound didn't completely go away. The issue remains unresolved and I'm just riding the lease out.""

Anonymous A., AZ (2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Unsure 3.6-L V6)

    Exhaust

Muffler, pipes, catalytic converter, exhaust manifold, heat shields, leaks.

    What Owners Say

    Other/unsure

"The steering wheel finish is wearing off"

Anonymous, NY (2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 3.6-L V6)

"Check Engine light came on engine was surging. Dealer said car couldn't be driven until fixed. They changed plugs, changed oil,PVC and another component Charged $1200 including $10/qt for synthetic oil. Then they said we didn't change oil following factory mileage recommended for two sequences when we changed oil following the oil condition indicated on the car screen and the manual said the oil change interval was 15000 miles. We had only put on 20000 miles since we bought the car used."

Anonymous, MN (2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 3.6-L V6)

"The driver's side seat belt retractor has been replaced 3 times due to a weak spring. The replacement was covered under the original factory warranty the next 2 times were covered under an extended warranty that I purchased."

"The Apple CarPlay no longer works in my vehicle."

Anonymous, NY (2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 3.6-L V6)
    Display screen freezes up

""Sometimes when driving, the Jeep's stereo touch screen will suddenly change to the phone contacts screen and stop working completely - without any input from anyone in the car. Also, on rare occasion, it'll jump back and forth between screens. You can't do anything with the stereo unless you use the knobs and steering wheel controls. And since the display is frozen, you can't see what you're doing so you just guess. The problem seemed to have started after an automatic update a while ago (I've had the Jeep for 3 years now and am returning it soon), and it has never completely gone away. The only fix is turning off the vehicle completely for several minutes. Also, when I first leased the Jeep, Apple CarPlay worked for a while. Then later, that iPhone 13 stopped working out of the blue (no change in my phone) - calling my iPhone an iPod. When I talked with a Jeep customer service rep at the dealership, they said my phone wasn't supported.) None of it made sense. That stereo experience (and an unresolved A/C system issue) has soured an OK experience with the Jeep.""
